About Pacific Coast Radio

The idea for Pacific Coast Radio began almost as an accident, after a remote broadcast stream test on Penang Island, Malayasia in December 2019, to see if it were possible to broadcast our mp3 playlists for our friends, remotely, without an internet connection.

After a year of successful testing, experimention using different audio files, different logo prototypes, and different radio servers, with the intention of broadcasting music from a wide variety of our favorite artists from different genres, Pacific Coast FM was officially launched in December 2020 as an internet-only radio channel from a different remote location in Ocean Shores, Washington.

Our radio channel eventually found it's identity and, in addition to our diverse music rotation, a number of different broadcasts and established broadcasters were added to our weekly schedule.

In 2023 a name change from Pacific Coast FM to Pacific Coast Radio was administered and more media services expanded our stream onto their platforms. In addition, Pacific Coast Radio expanded the availability of our radio apps to Google Play, the App Store, Apple Watches, Google TV, Roku, and Fire TV.
